Your Neighbors Are Helping You—If You Let Them

Look around, what do you see?

People.

I see people. I see we are the same but different. Our differences are how we look, our perspectives, our lifestyles, our strengths, our weaknesses, our virtues, our nature. Our differences are what make each of us unique and valuable.

We are supposed to learn from one another—not condemn each other.

We are supposed to learn how to be better humans through the virtues we each have as we share our environment.

The desirable virtues in others can act as a measuring tape, helping you gauge the strength of your own virtues and motivating you to change your beliefs so you can become a better person.

The undesirable virtues in someone can serve as a mirror, helping you see what you do not admire. It can also teach you the importance of why you should move away from someone—so you learn you should protect yourself.

Everyone has a purpose. And one of our purposes is to help each other see how and why we should always strive to do better.

Your experiences with your neighbors are how you evolve. It is through their help, the good and bad, that you attain a higher level in your enlightenment process.

Discrimination. Persecution. Shunning. These acts stop your tape measure from gauging your development. These acts crack your mirror and destroy your chance to see your reflection clearly.

Discriminating against your fellow brothers and sisters halts your development and the chance to evolve from the lessons you could have received from your neighbors.

We are One in a shared collective environment. It was supposed to be this way. And it always will be... until the very End 🌎💫
