We Are in Danger—Our Government Is Collapsing

If you refused to support a government that has repeatedly shown corruption, violence, and lawbreaking, you made the right choice. Standing for ethics and truth matters—especially to Heaven. The choices you make today shape what happens next.
For those who still deny what is happening, you need to know that consequences will follow. Supporting unethical leadership leads to harm—not only to government systems, but to real people. Honest leaders are necessary for a country to function successfully.
Trump Removes Safeguards from Government
During Trump’s first presidency, experienced officials acted as checks on his power. They helped stop unethical and unconstitutional actions. Sadly, today, many of those protections are gone.
Since the start of President Trump’s second administration, he and his allies have worked to reshape the federal government, including firing 56 political appointees across several agencies who help keep the government running (CREW).
Many skilled professionals were replaced by people personally chosen by Trump. Many of these replacements lack the experience or independence needed for their jobs. They remain because they follow orders and serve his interests. This weakens democracy, harms the economy, and removes protections Americans once depended on.
Those fired include military leaders, justice officials, oversight board members, and agency directors responsible for vaccine safety, workers’ rights, climate protection, and public welfare.
In addition to the higher-ups listed above, over 50,000 additional workers have been laid off or targeted for layoffs from federal agencies so far (CNN).
Resignations Due to Unethical Government Practices
Along with firings, many officials chose to resign rather than take part in what they believed was an unethical or corrupt government. Many of these individuals were experienced professionals who helped protect the country.
Notable resignations include:
Walter Shaub Jr., Office of Government Ethics, after ethical standards were ignored
Matthew Graves, U.S. Attorney for D.C., who refused to dismiss January 6th cases
Danielle R. Sassoon and three prosecutors, after pressure to drop bribery charges involving New York Mayor Eric Adams
Denise Cheung, U.S. Attorney’s Office (D.C.), over misuse of prosecutorial power
Nicole Argentieri, DOJ Criminal Division, after being told to stop corruption investigations
Maher Bitar, National Security Council, over unethical handling of intelligence
Multiple officials from the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office, following a fatal ICE shooting
This list is not complete. Reports continue of large numbers of resignations across agencies such as the DOJ, Department of Education, HHS, USDA, VA, IRS, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
In the months since President Donald Trump’s second term began, about 70 government officials have publicly resigned in protest after being asked to do something they believed to be illegal or in violation of their oath of office (CREW).
At the end of Trump’s first year back in office, roughly 300,000 fewer Americans worked for the government (The Atlantic).

And Now We Pay the Price
These firings and resignations are already affecting people’s lives.
Current consequences include:
Delays in Social Security, retirement benefits, health care, tax processing, and food assistance
Higher risks to public health, safety, the environment, and disaster response
A weaker economy, higher unemployment, and slower job growth
Loss of long-term scientific research, including cancer treatment and space exploration
Possible future consequences include:
Less trust and respect from other countries
Weakening or privatization of agencies like Social Security
Less reliable national data
Breakdown of protections at agencies such as the EPA and FDA, leading to more environmental damage and unsafe products
One outcome many people fear is dictatorship. The growing concentration of power, legal immunity for leaders, and unchecked military authority point to a dangerous shift—one toward the conditions of a dictatorship.
America Is Losing Its Foundation
America was once known as the land of the free. People trusted our government and believed in our democracy. Power changed hands peacefully, and laws were respected.
That image is fading. Democracy and human-rights groups now warn that the United States is under serious strain and showing signs of authoritarian rule.
Trump is tearing away the principles America was built on: freedom from abuse of power, equal justice, basic rights, and personal liberty. These rights were meant for everyone.
Instead, power is being concentrated to serve one person, with loyalty valued more than accountability.
A Warning Before It Is Too Late
God and Jesus are outraged that many continue to support actions that are destroying our country’s freedoms for personal gain.
Do not stand by while the foundation of the republic is destroyed. Do not accept corruption and abuse of power as normal.
God said:
“Trump is causing your government to collapse.”
This is a warning that we must act before it is too late.
Speak up. Contact elected officials at every level. Demand investigations, accountability, and consequences. Insist that no leader is above the law. Help save our government from collapsing into a dictatorship. 🇺🇸🗽🇺🇸
