“This Land is My Land… This Land is *Not* Your Land…”—Thanks to Trump

Do you remember this song?

“This land is your land, and this land is my land.

From California to the New York island.

From the redwood forests to the Gulf Stream waters.

This land was made for you and me.”

Most of us learned it as children when we were taught how special America is. And that one of the things that made America special was its diversity.

This unique aspect of our land of the free was created by upholding freedoms and liberties for all. America is a nation that fought for these rights and denounced being governed under an authoritarian dictatorship. We have been a nation with a long history of welcoming others in, earning the name melting pot.

America proudly held her arms open to those seeking a better life, or safety and refuge from the violence and wars erupting in their countries, giving them safety from harm and death.

And now, thanks to Trump and his desire to discriminate and eliminate migrants, we are losing one of the very things that makes America special—its diversity.

Sadly, Trump, with the help of the majority of Supreme Court judges, just shut the door hard on migrants. They passed two bills making it nearly impossible for immigrants to get into America, even those seeking asylum from deadly, dangerous conditions. And he can even cast out more than 1 million migrants now, who are already settled here.

This is an outrage. You should be upset about how truly uncompassionate and cruel this behavior is.

Jesus wants you to know “more negative karma will be coming for America due to Trump’s lack of kindness and care for others.” And on-going acts of “discrimination and persecution” he is committing.

This is not justifiable in Heaven’s eyes, to close the door to America on people who either need to flee from danger and save their lives, or those looking to make a better life for themselves.

Heaven is shedding tears over this “heartless behavior and mistake,” as more and more division is created by the corrupt and cruel Trump government.

Please speak up and advocate for the migrants who should not be treated with such hatred and persecution.

Make America the land for you and me again ❤️🇺🇸
