Cornell’s Cover-Up Exposed
Wow… Cornell? Really?
The tragic fraternity gang rape devastating a young college woman that just got exposed has been heartbreaking to hear about. And then finding out how neglectful and irresponsible Cornell University was in handling it has made this tragedy even more maddening.
Given the evidence the victim supplied to campus police, along with a clear statement declaring in her own words that she was raped, Cornell should have had these sex offenders handed to the police with no problem. But, sadly, that’s not what happened.
Justice was not served, and not because she didn’t speak up or because of a lack of evidence.
Jesus came through when I was watching a news clip about this tragedy and said Cornell “intentionally dropped the ball on seeking justice for the victim because they were more concerned about money and status.”
He said they were worried this stain on their college would face scrutiny and scare parents and potential students away. Cornell was more concerned about its image and getting a bad reputation if this horrific crime got out.
Jesus said it was a “cover-up,” done to prevent losing future students, parents, and tuition.
Sadly, money was more important to Cornell than holding the students accountable for their violent and disgusting crime.
Cornell failed miserably in helping a girl who was gang-raped get the justice she deserved, and in warning other girls on campus about these young sexual deviants so they could protect themselves.
Jesus wants you to know the truth. They did have an agenda behind how they dropped the ball in helping this student. He also said we need laws that penalize colleges that neglect students' safety, rights, and the law because they focus on the wrong values: greed and status.
Cornell’s cover-up has been exposed. Advocate for justice; don’t let them keep their dirty little secret. Protect the students instead.
