Hegseth Just Can’t Keep a Secret—Not Fit for Secretary of Defense

Oops… he did it again. 😯 Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense, was caught making the same mistake twice: divulging sensitive information regarding strikes in Yemen on a commercial texting app. Hegseth revealed, yet again, secret war details on Signal, the same chat app he used when he committed this breach before. But this time, it was to non-government officials—his wife and brother. 😬 Are you kidding?
Since this is now Hegseth’s second time exposing confidential war information on a texting app that could be compromised and exposed to the wrong people, putting our soldiers in danger, and perhaps even U.S. citizens… Heaven has intervened with a message to tell you that this is a big deal. Not only is Hegseth’s irresponsible and unprofessional behavior alarming, but so is President Trump’s, given he has chosen to brush off Hegseth’s mistake and even downplay it. Instead of firing Hegesth, or at least giving him a severe reprimand, given the seriousness of his poor judgment, Trump has decided to deny and defend Hegseth’s alarming mistake… again.
God said He wants you to understand how serious this error in judgment is on Hegseth’s part—and Trump’s—when he chose to reveal confidential government war details to his wife and brother… on a texting app.
The fact that Hegseth has been going around lying about what he did and denying it on the media (just like he did the first time)—has God outraged. Hegseth, again, has shown no remorse or taken any responsibility for his serious error. Nor has our President. Trump has also done nothing to ensure this will not happen again, ensuring we are protected from Hegseth’s leaks, which could cause harm if the wrong people see them.
Hegseth Can’t Keep a Secret
& Trump Refuses to Take Appropriate Action
Hegseth revealed confidential information to his family and lawyer, who are not even involved in government affairs. He told them the timing and manner of the attack on key military targets in Yemen. Hegseth was very specific about sharing this information and listed key targets and time frames. If enemies had gotten hold of this information, they could have defended themselves against the U.S. and potentially shot down planes with American pilots in them. (AP News)
The fact that Trump and Hegseth continue to downplay the seriousness of this security breach testifies to their ineptitude and carelessness. Trump has done nothing to discipline Hegseth. He and the White House have only defended him through this as if he hasn’t done anything wrong. Lives are at stake. Our enemies now know the U.S. is lax about matters of national security. If our leaders continue to be careless, our enemies will capitalize on this and hit us where it hurts most.
Furthermore, Hegseth has shown he is generally just a bad leader and manager. Many have complained at his office at the Pentagon that it is a mess and his staff are constantly infighting, leaving, and getting fired. He has been painted as unprofessional and incompetent, as revealed by staff and former staff, as well as his numerous public indiscretions and information leaks. (The Guardian)
God’s Message
God is angry. He said He wants “people who make serious breaches exposing confidential information disciplined and reprimanded by being fired… Especially if it puts others in danger of harm”—which Hegseth’s Signal chat did when he revealed sensitive war plans.
The fact that Trump has done nothing to hold Hegseth accountable and assure us that this error will never happen again has only fueled God’s anger more, especially since so many in Trump’s camp are also keeping up this charade of dismissing the alarming behavior of both Hegseth and Trump.
The ‘anxiety rollercoaster’ in America just keeps going with Trump as President. God wants you to know that He chooses and wants leaders who instill peace and protect people. Trump is not giving this to Americans. Instead, Trump’s negligence in handling Hegseth’s mistakes shows, again, that he is not thinking like a good leader who is interested in safeguarding the people’s well-being. Instead, Trump is showing that he is in it to make deals that will benefit him like the businessman he is… and not a wise, honorable leader, which is what a ‘President’ should be.
